The Flyers and the Thunder was launched on June 10, 2010 at Marcel Dionne's store in Niagara Falls, ON. The book outlines the history of OHA Junior A and OHL hockey in the Honeymoon Capital from 1960 to 1996.

The foreward was written by former Niagara Falls Flyer and Chicago Blackhawk star Steve Ludzik.
